Burning Bush (Euonymus alata "Compactus")

Burning Bush is a deciduous shrub that was native to Asia.  It can grow to 8 feet tall and just as wide but is most commonly used as a hedge or ornamental shrub that is trimmed annually to keep it looking compact and neat!  It makes a perfect divider for driveways property lines or to hide fences.  It is green and thick all summer but turns a stunning bright red in the fall and holds this color for a very long time!  This bush can be kept at 3-4 feet with a flat or round top easily by trimming once a year or you can let it grow natural!  It is very hardy and is good in zones 3-9.  It is in the Euonymus family.
